Caring for people is essential work.

Your labor is not in vain.

It is Labor Day weekend, a holiday set aside to celebrate the social and economic achievements of the American worker. That is a work force worth celebrating!

But, beyond the well known jobs in manufacturing, technology, agriculture, food services, public utilities, and many other well known fields of labor and service, with a measurable R.O. I., is the very important work you are involved in, caring for people.

The value of your work is beyond measure and so is the intensity of the work.

So, this weekend, I celebrate you. Let's celebrate each other, and realize, God celebrates and rewards you too.

10 God is not unjust;
he will not forget your work
and the love you have shown him
as you have helped his people
and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.

You've been working hard. Your labor matters. I hope you get some rest this weekend, and I hope you are encouraged to know God sees, and will not forget your work!!!
