Do you know your pastor's/care pastor's/ministry leader's concerns?

A prayer for the awareness of God's presence.

"Oh, Lord, we put our whole hope in You.

Especially for those who are called to serve Your people

we realize they need You.

Not only do they care for us,

but there are burdens that are heavy in their lives.

So, in this moment, on their behalf,

I quiet my soul and still my activities and wait for Your presence,

for me and for them.

Help them to feel your closeness and care,

and be renewed in their souls, spirit, mind and body.

In Jesus I pray.

Amen."

"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope."

 Psalms 130:5

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding not one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak...

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint."

Isaiah 40:28,29,31
